Halloween tag
Close to my heart makes some of the cutest stamps. I also used the gravestone cut from the artiste cartridge. I think it's adorable. I put black tule on the top after I punched a hole and I also applied glossy accents to some features and colored with ctmh alcohol markers.

Fun with canned air
This idea came from Tim Holtz of course. Playing with bright alcohol inks and glossy paper with a can of air. Fun technique. This is going to be the base of a sweet 15 birthday card

Graduation card with washi tape
This is a super cute easy card to make with your washi tape. I chose 3 different tapes and used a repeat to make the balloon over cream cardstock. Personalized with small banners I made from scraps and attached some sanded cuttlebug embossed paper as the basket. I pop dotted the balloon over hand cut paper from echo park walk in the park paper pack. I think it turned out super cute and am hoping my niece loves it.

Bee happy bee busy cards
Ok my girls would say I am obsessed with bees. I just colored about 30 of them do they may be right. These images are from ctmh stamps and the paper is from the urban prairie collection from basic grey. I love the color scheme and am happy with the overall look.

Simple stories documented paper pack cards
I recently stumbled across this paper and immediately fell in love with it. It is simply stating what I feel everyday It has such lovely statements on it such as happiness is in the journey not the destination. I love these cards

Playing with distress stains
Tonight I made three tags that will be placed on cards. I played with color and found that really all the distress line colors will work together and that even when I think something won't work out. It might. I thought the bird tag was going to be thrown out but it ended up working and sometimes only part of a stamp can be used to achieve really pretty borders. So is anyone out there? Anyone got some creative critiques or comments?

Card maker Tim Holtz inspired
So today I got my may 2012 copy of CardMaker magazine and Tim Holtz is featured and has a card tutorial. This us my version. I wish the background on the tag showed up more but I stamped it in copper rather than white. I will have to try a white stamped version too but this is what I came up with tonight!

Marbled stains technique
My marbling didn't turn out as nice as I would have liked and the tree stamp ended up looking splotchy. This does however make the tag look very aged which is interesting. Feedback?
Stamping with stains technique
This was a very interesting technique. I loved my tag up until the point of stamping black images on the tag. I made a poor choice of black images. The are difficult to see but I really like the background.

Layered misting technique
Tried this technique. Not my favorite. I can see using it occasionally. My hands are very stained because I had to modify technique by using distress stain and some tattered angel spray. Too much prep and clean up for me.

Archival resist attempt two
I like the background better on this one however I don't like the foreground. Needed a bolder primary statement.
Archival resist tag
This is my first attempt and it's growing on me. I like the technique. I just struggled a bit with the slicker than usual surface with stamping on glossy surface.

Stamping with reflections techniques
So here is the third technique Tim Holtz taught tonight. The only one I could do tonight because I can finds glossy card stock !?!? This involved stamping on embossing folders and getting reverse images and then framing another stamp within the embossing folder! I cut a slit in the top of the folder for the tag. I am very happy with the end result. I'd love some feedback. Thanks
Wrinkle free distress tag
This is tag #4? Very interesting cause I really didn't think it would turn out this interesting with my limited palette. However I think it turned out ok. I will try this again when I get some yellows oranges blues and purple

Another brushless watercolor
This one appears to have wicked a bit more but I did spray water onto stamped image after I stamped it. It is pretty and I did do edges in fired brick
Brushless watercolor
Tag #3 is posted. The was the third attempt at this technique. It would seem simple but several factors played in with water on stamp and poor stamping quality with a larger stamp. Anyhow the end result of attempt 3 is pretty and something I will try again
